Validating your RSS file



Validating the file

Once you have created your RSS file (use our rss code generator for hassle free RSS creation) and uploaded it to your webspace, you have to have the code validated.

If your feed is not validated and contains errors your feed might not get approval for submission.

The validators are very easy to use, just enter the url to your RSS file and click validate - it will report any errors it finds. You must correct any errors then revalidate before submitting your feed.

Wytheville Community College News Center - a free service that allows you to create a javascript feed so you can offer your headlines to other sites - not essential but as it also contains a validator it might be worth a visit.
