FAQ - General Q4

Q4:How do you decide on your scripting approach? - after all browsers come with lots of options to turn on and off.

A: That's always been a tricky one for me but the rule of thumb I always use is to write scripts to work at the default install settings. Once the script works I will then test and rewrite with javascript disabled to make sure there aren't any design issues.

If you go with default install settings you will please most of the people most of the time. As long as you plan well and think about some of the what if's you should get it about right
